Our Mission
Classical Learning Center, Inc.'s mission is to apply time-honored classical academic methods that teach students how to think, help them grow intellectually, and develop critical thinking skills that lead to independent, responsible, and productive adult lives.
Our Values
Classical Learning Center, Inc is framed by our love and commitment to God, family, community, and country and grounded in classical academic traditions of pursuing truth, seeking virtue and wisdom, and instilling the values of self-control, discipline, and public service. Our value-based culture promotes a healthy balance between home and work as essential for a well-balanced life.
About Classical Education
Classical education emphasizes learning through both written and spoken words. It is founded on a child’s three-part development of critical thinking: grammar, logic, and rhetoric, which cultivates adults into lifelong independent learners. During the grammar stage of development, young students absorb facts and systematically build a foundation for advanced study.
During the pre-teen logic years, students begin to think more analytically, seeking the “why” of how things fit together into a logical framework while concentrating on cause and effect and the relationships among different fields of knowledge.
By high school, abstract thought begins to mature. Students learn to test the truth through thoughtful examination, articulate positions with deductive reasoning rooted in factual evidence, and express conclusions in clear and elegant language.
Why Choose CLC?
With alarming deficiencies in reading and math among students nationwide (2024 National Center for Education Statistics), our small-group, traditional tutoring offers a proven solution. Our tutors- many with advanced degrees - provide personalized attention to ensure every child thrives.
