Student Tutoring

We offer small-group (3-6 students) and private tutoring for students in reading, math, critical thinking, and logic. Whether your child needs remedial help, standard review, or enrichment, our courses provide a solid foundation with incremental skill-building.

Subjects

Reading

The content, which is grade-level-based, includes explicit and systematic instruction in phonemic and phonological awareness, the alphabetic principle, and phonics skills such as blending and segmenting words to read and write them.Reading, writing, grammar, punctuation skills, and concepts for each grade level are based on what students are expected to know. Exercises also develop critical thinking, vocabulary, and other skills and concepts.

Lessons include easy-to-follow explanations, examples, and charts for visual learners. They are followed by a variety of fun, colorful, mind-building activities using different genres.

Mathematics

The math curriculum is written according to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics standards. Based on grade level, lessons contain a warm-up with facts practice, mental math, & problem-solving exercises, an introduction to the new concept, lesson practice exercises where the new skill is practiced, and mixed practice exercises. Lessons emphasize problem-solving and computation to build for success in higher-level math and math assessments.

Critical Thinking & Logic

Critical thinking and logic develop deep analytical skills, which enhance comprehension of the presented material, resulting in greater engagement and retention. This creates a lifelong learner equipped to understand, master, and apply new information at any time.Based on grade level, lessons are developmentally sequenced with each skill classifying first in the semi-concrete and figural-spatial form. Students also learn important academic vocabulary, concepts, and skills as they analyze relationships between objects, between words, and between objects and words.

Highschool (ages 14-18)

Adult Evening Courses: Seniors in high school and adults.

*Regardless of learning level, students are only in classes with students within their age range. Instruction will be differentiated based on the student's level.

Trimesters : 15 weeks, 1 hr/week, Mon-Thurs

Fall: Sept. 8 - Dec. 18, 2025

Spring: Jan. 5 - April 16, 2026

Summer: April 20 - July 30, 2026 (Memorial Day makeup: Fri, May 29)

Summer Intensive : 6 weeks, Tues-Thurs, June 22 - July 30, 2026

Homework Support

Monday - Thursday, 1 hr/day during Fall and Spring trimesters for $30/class.
